Some of the puzzle images come from the imagination of artist, Sue Holm. These fanciful images may have been inspired by places visited or a fictional location in a piece of literature.
“Quaint Village” is a composite memory of places in the Tasmanian Midlands, with their stone cottages, stark landscape and history.
“Under Milk Wood” was inspired by the Dylan Thomas radio play of the same name.
“Country Gardens” is a collection of character buildings with gardens, farmland, fruit trees and chickens. What stories do you imagine for the people who live here?
“Shack Life” is nowhere in particular but illustrates the huge variety in character of Tasmanian shacks. Be it a fishing shack at the highland lakes, a little place by the coast or even a caravan on a bush block; Tasmanian’s love to get away to a shack for relaxation and family gatherings.
